Halloween and Day of the Dead at Home

The period from 31 October - 2 November sees two incredibly diverse festivals take place centred around the departed.  With Halloween's roots in paganism and Day of the Dead's roots in Aztec times, these two festivals are naturas to put together in an Adventure.  If you haven't come across the Day of the Dead before, don't be put off - this Mexican festival is all about joyful  celebration and the music we have chosen for this Adventure is so evocative that the imaginations will really be sizzling.

Once the scene has been set you can enjoy a game of musical Halloween chase and make a musical potion!  We then move to Mexico where you can decorate your Calavera mask to characterful songs about the Day of the Dead. After this we meet some clickety-clackety characters which span both festivals and have a quick witches' dance before seeing the bats off as they go trick or treating.

We believe that you'll be wanting October to come around quickly next year so that you can dust the cobwebs off this Adventure again.
