The Snowman

other festive family favourites.

Saturday 18th December at 3pm

All Saints, Weston Green,
KT10 8JL

Come and join in with the wonderful Equinox Ensemble and Helen Styles from Sing-a-Song-a-Day as they perform a programme of Christmas family favourites in Surrey.

As with all of Harmony's Music Club's concerts, The Snowman is interactive meaning that children have the chance to join in where cued by Helen using an ocean drum which they can make at home and bring along on the day, and they can submit artwork which will then be put up on the big screen to illustrate the story as it is told.  Seeing their artwork up on the big screen creates big excitement!

Following The Snowman we have a wonderful range of Christmas Carols and Songs which know  will have the youngest to the oldest joining in with actions and sleigh bells!

The concert will last no more than hour and there will be a short intermission after The Snowman for those little people in the audience to get a chance to stretch their legs!

The Equinox Ensemble after a recent recording for the popular A Musical Advent  online advent calendar.

Tickets are from £5, 0-2 year olds are free and family tickets are available.

How to join in

There are lots of ways to join in with the concert.

1.  Why not make an ocean drum so that you can join in making some lovely sounds when cued by Helen?  Our easy guidelines on how to make a Christmas ocean drum are at the bottom of this page.

2. Why not send us a picture of your finest snowman, or a photo of a Snowman you have made yourself in the snow?  Just make sure that you email your picture (as a jpeg) to before 4 December 2021 for your chance for your snowman to go up on the big screen.

3.  We will have sleigh bells with us on the day for joining in with some of the pieces (these will have been cleaned prior to the concert).

4. We will have actions for you to join in with!

The Venue

While All Saint's, Weston Green only has limited parking, the streets around the church are available for free parking.

COVID-19 Considerations

In line with current guidelines and recommended practice, we are taking a number of steps to ensure the event remains as Covid-secure as it can be.

We are maximising ventilation, limiting the number of audience members we can admit to the venue (so do book fast!) and politely request, out of consideration for others, that masks are worn during the performance.

If, having booked a ticket, on concert-day you find yourself with one of the telling symptoms of Covid-19, live with somebody who has the disease or for any reason are self-isolating, please do not attend the event. We are afraid that we are only able to refund tickets in the event of a government imposed lockdown (we are unable to refund the Eventbrite administration fee) or the concert having to be cancelled because of an unwell musician.

All of the musicians will be tested to ensure that they too are Covid-free on concert-day.
