Sleeping Beauty Flyer SPCG - Use_edited_

This Easter holidays Harmony's Music Club is bringing another great interactive family concert to Covent Garden and Surrey. Starring narrator Alexander Campbell, and pianists Caroline Page and Kazu Shiraiso.

In this concert Harmony's Music Club re-tells the epic tale of Sleeping Beauty using the sumptuous and much-loved music from Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty, arranged by Rachmaninoff for piano duet.  This is paired with Bizet's playful collection of short pieces for piano duet, Jeux d'Enfants (Children's Games), where bubbles will fly and the audience will be challenged to guess the children's game being played before it is fully revealed on the big screen.  With musical joining in too (👇🏼),  this concert programme is destined to become a permanent feature in our calendar.

The music will be performed alongside images to help the younger concert go-ers visualise the story.

The concert will last around one hour.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Joining In With The Performance

We strive to engage our younger listeners with our performances. In this performance, in addition to the guessing game in Jeux d'Enfants children can play along where cued.  To do this they are invited to make an ocean drum.  You can either purchase one of our ocean drums to use and then decorate at home, or make one.  To see how to make an ocean drum:
